The story of the chef and founder.
Booy Bakker was born and raised in Callantsoog. He developed his passion for gardening, cooking and baking at an early age. Through experiences at restaurants such as La Première, Restaurant Hotel Merlet and De Librije, he was able to discover his love for food more and more and thus decided to set up a catering service. At BBakker Culinair, you and your guests will be spoiled with the most flavorful dishes, amuses or oysters!
Homegrown ingredients
Booy finds it important to work with high-quality ingredients that come from the region as much as possible. He grows the vegetables, flowers and fruits he uses together with his grandfather in the vegetable garden, so the season always has to be taken into account. Currently, Booy is the 5th generation to use the vegetable garden!
